Höegh Autoliners is one of the world’s leading RoRo operators, carrying close to two million standard car units annually worldwide. Our latest range of vessels, the New Horizon series are the largest RoRo vessels in the world with capacity for 8500 car equivalent units and ramp strength of 375T.
Höegh Autoliners has a strong presence in Africa, with established operational and commercial offices. In South Africa we have our own office in Durban and Johannesburg while the other African countries traditionally are served by our professional agency network. With three services into and out of South Africa we are able to connect with numerous ports around the globe.
Our Europe to South Africa, Indian Ocean and Oceania trade (EUAF) calls at the main ports in Europe as well as Tangier. We are a strong partner for our customers to the Indian Ocean Islands and the only RoRo carrier calling east bound to Mauritius. The Indian Ocean destinations are served on a monthly basis. The Middle East, India, Africa and Americas (MIAF) service connects in Durban to offer our customers transhipment possibilities to West Africa via Dakar, and the Caribbean and Americas via Port of Spain. This service is offered on a monthly basis. Furthermore, our monthly East Asia to Africa (FEAF) service caters for shipments from Japan, Korea and Singapore to South and East Africa, before returning to Asia
We have built a strong relationship with leading car manufacturers, for whom we ship new vehicles through our Global trade network. In addition we focus strongly on the High and Heavy and Breakbulk segments, where our professional staff and Modern vessels are ready to accommodate a variety of cargo.
Our Horizon class vessels offer up to 6.5 meters free deck height and can cater for cargo weighing up to 375T.
